Yes — for direct rentals with Seas & Keys, renters are required to provide their own insurance. We've made it easy through our partner Axle, which verifies your coverage quickly and securely online.
It's all handled digitally during the booking process. When you book, you'll receive an email to connect your insurance through Axle — it takes just a few minutes and everything is done before your rental starts. No paperwork, no hassle.
You'll need to obtain a qualifying auto insurance policy before your rental can be confirmed. We recommend purchasing a short-term or non-owner auto insurance policy through a third-party provider — and we're happy to point you in the right direction. Just reach out and we'll help you find the right option before your trip.

Return the vehicle with the same fuel level it had when you picked it up. Simple.
We hold a security deposit via your card at the time of booking. It's released after the rental closes with no issues.
